How exactly does the heat dissipation of an electric storage heater work in a room? As part of an exclusive study in collaboration with the TU Dresden, we investigated this question and examined the proportions of heat dissipation in the form of radiation and convection in this form of heating. The result shows: With electric storage heaters, 41 percent of the heat in a room is emitted by radiation and 59 percent by convection.
By expanding our photovoltaic capacity to 356 kilowatt peak (KWp), we are emphasising our commitment to environmentally friendly production processes. The larger solar system reduces the CO2 footprint and optimises energy efficiency. Our philosophy combines ecological sustainability with technological innovation to ensure the quality of our electric radiators through sustainable production.
The fully automated FX BendCell 2550 bending cell from Euromac has been at our Burgstรคdt production site since the end of 2022. With high production capacity and precision, it bends side parts for our electric radiators. Roberta, as we affectionately call the bending cell, picks up the raw sheets with the robotic arm (KUKA KR 60) and turns them into finished side parts for infrared heaters and direct heaters in various bending steps โ quickly, precisely and reliably in large quantities.
Lucht LHZ is proud to present a detailed experience report from one of our OEM customers who have successfully used our partial storage heaters (also known as surface storage heaters) in their renovated old single-family home.
The M. family, consisting of two adults and two children, has lived in a semi-detached house in the Erzgebirge foothills near Chemnitz since spring 2021. The following report summarizes the results and experiences from three years of heating practice.
Daniel Russell, our valued Export Sales Director, celebrates his 20th anniversary with Lucht LHZ this year.
Since joining the team in 2004, Daniel has been instrumental in expanding the global presence of Lucht LHZ and our brand Technotherm.
In the past 20 years, Daniel has built an impressive international network, increasing our exports to over 35 countries. What began as a small export department has grown into a global business, with Daniel playing a key role in this success.
With his warm and approachable nature, Daniel has won over countless customers and is a highly respected colleague. His dedication, expertise, and understanding of international markets have made him an essential part of our success.
Dear Daniel, we thank you for 20 years of outstanding work and look forward to many more successful years together. Congratulations on your anniversary!
Infrared heater beats gas central heating system
Which form of heating saves more final energy: infrared heating or a gas condensing boiler? A recent study by the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics IBP on behalf of the industry association IG Infrarot Deutschland e.V. addressed this question. By the way, final energy is the energy that reaches the consumer on site and in this case is available for heating.
The study shows that infrared heating consumes 32 percent less final energy than gas condensing boilers! For the study, the research institute compared two identical detached houses – so-called twin houses. One house was equipped with infrared heating and the other with a gas condensing boiler and panel radiators.
From our point of view, this is a great result! It clearly shows that infrared heaters are an important building block for the #heat transition. If you couple an infrared heating system with a #solar system on the roof, homeowners can make themselves as independent as possible from the energy market and support climate protection.
Electric surface storage heaters are an important building block for the #heat transition!
As part of our exclusive study with the Technical University of Dresden, we examined the heat output of an electric panel storage heater in a room. The ratio between radiation (41 percent) and convection (59 percent) clearly shows that this form of heating is ideal for large main living spaces such as the living room.
However, electric panel storage heating not only creates a pleasant feeling of warmth in the room. In combination with green electricity, it is also a completely sustainable form of heating If homeowners then combine it with a #solar system, they also make themselves independent of the energy market and save money.
