Burgstädt, 14 October 2025 ––
LUCHT LHZ, an international manufacturer of electric direct heating devices, closed the third quarter of 2025 with record results: the Burgstadt-based company increased its order intake by almost 20 per cent compared to the same period last year. This makes the past quarter the strongest third quarter in the company’s history. The LUCHT Group’s turnover also continued to rise in the current financial year (1 January 2025 to 30 September 2025) – by around seven percent compared to the same period last year.
Market demand for electric direct heating systems continues to grow.

According to Uwe Lucht, managing director of LUCHT LHZ, there are various reasons for this development: “Fossil fuel heating systems are on the way out. Rising CO2 prices will make oil and gas heating systems far too expensive in just a few years – not to mention the environmental consequences. Alongside heat pumps, which are significantly more expensive to purchase, electric heating systems are the best solution for climate-neutral heating. What’s more, these systems can be easily connected to a solar power system, which further reduces operating costs.”
At the beginning of the year, LUCHT LHZ Elektroheizung GmbH & Co. KG still employed 65 people
By 1 October 2025, the number of employees had already risen to 76. ‘By the end of the year, we will have 80 employees,’ says Uwe Lucht. The family-owned company has more than 35 years of experience in the production and development of electric heating systems and manufactures all of its heating devices in Burgstädt and Hartmannsdorf. LUCHT LHZ’s product portfolio covers all types of electric heating systems, from infrared heaters and panel storage heaters to convectors.

The company sells electric heaters under the TECHNOTHERM brand name
The LUCHT Group also offers its services as an OEM partner in 40 countries. In June of this year, the Saxony-based manufacturer took over a commercial space in Burgstädt, thereby increasing its own production capacity by more than 50 per cent to over 10,000 square metres. In July 2025, LUCHT LHZ also expanded its management team: Denise Littbarski has since been working as managing director alongside Uwe Lucht.
