The LUCHT LHZ Group has announced a significant increase in revenue for the first half of 2026, up almost 20% on the same period last year. This continues the positive business development that the Saxon e-heating company has experienced in recent years. ‘The first half of 2026 was the strongest in our company’s history,’ said Managing Director Uwe Lucht.
The company has already recorded order intake in the millions of euros for the second half of the year. Alongside this economic growth, the team has continued to expand. While LUCHT LHZ employed 68 staff members at the midpoint of 2025, the current workforce stands at 80.
Further investment in automated manufacturing
LUCHT LHZ is also continuing to professionalise production at its Burgstädt and Hartmannsdorf sites. The e-heating manufacturer has already invested €750,000 in additional machinery and automated processes this financial year with the aim of making its production processes more efficient, faster and more scalable.
Managing Director Uwe Lucht says this marks an important next step for the Saxon company: “We are focused on end-to-end processes that deliver maximum efficiency and speed. From punching to sorting, everything works together seamlessly, exactly as a modern electric heating production line should function today. By expanding our manufacturing capabilities, we are creating additional capacity, shorter lead times, and sustainable growth.’
The expansion of production forms part of the company’s long-term strategy of moving towards fully automated manufacturing. Several years ago, the company installed its first punching machine featuring automatic loading and unloading capabilities. Three years later, this was followed by a fully automated bending centre with robotics.
LUCHT LHZ has now expanded its production line with a Euromac XT punching centre. This system enables faster metal processing and greater precision, even for complex components, while offering additional flexibility to LUCHT LHZ’s OEM partners worldwide. It is complemented by an XXL robotic sorting cell that automatically sorts punched parts. This reduces post-processing time and ensures consistent quality, regardless of volume. The company has also introduced a fully automated loading and unloading system.
New sales representation for Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
The LUCHT LHZ Group is broadening its sales structure. From 1 July, IV Krause GmbH will be responsible for liaising with tradespeople and wholesale partners regarding the TECHNOTHERM brand in Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. IV Krause GmbH has been active in the electrical and sanitary sector since 1991. It will work alongside the existing sales agency Quaas, which covers Saxony, Thuringia and Saxony-Anhalt. Looking ahead, the e-heating manufacturer plans to achieve nationwide sales coverage across Germany.
